APC Youth Continue Summer Missions

As the temperatures cool and the leaves begin to fall, the youth of Abbeville Presbyterian Church will continue various missions that really took a leading role in their summer. On October 25, the High School Youth Group will be heading to Mt. Carmel to have a work day for Wes & Angel McAlister. This work day will be an opportunity for the youth to work together to complete a task and a chance for new members to the group to get a feel for the teamwork attitude that will be needed for next year's Summer Mission Trip.

Even the younger youth get involved. The APC Bible School also had alot of mission emphasis with money, canned goods, socks, and toothbrushes being donated each night in an effort to make a difference in the lives of those that need food, shelter, basic hygenie needs, and clothes. This effort will continue as we incorporate a missions emphasis on our youth, and ask them to bring canned goods to help those in need.

APC does good works in the mission field, sending adults to Okobo, adults and youth helping with Habitat for Humanity both locally and at John's Island, SC, and getting our younger children involved with canned food drives. We do great at this, but we can do more. We need to do more.

If not now, when? If not here, where? If not you, who?
